Welcome to Windridge Morgans at River Farm in the Northwest, located in Salmon, Idaho. I breed morgan horses for temperament, conformation, and color, ranging from palomino, buckskin, dun, gray, smoky black and black. For mountain training purposes, I also have a ranch high in the Rocky Mountains, as you can see in the upper righthand photo. These morgan horses are trained in this steep and rugged location to further develop their natural athletic abilities.

I know that good temperament is the most important quality in a horse, I look for conformation and color too. I have searched the United States and Canada for these special horses, and I'm excited to have found all these qualities.  

Here, at River Farm (Home of Windridge Morgans) I'm not interested in the latest trend. My staff and I want to perpetuate America's first and finest - The Morgan Horse.
